Beyond the learning sessions, there are plenty of resources and business solutions to explore at this year’s conference. No matter where your business takes you, DelSuites recognizes that our global economy makes finding the right corporate housing provider a top priority. As a leader in Toronto’s corporate housing market, our team understands the unique needs that face new Torontonians.
In an effort to help you make the right decisions for your staff, DelSuites will be available throughout the conference to answer any questions that you may have about our properties and our neighbourhoods.
As a proud member of the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA), DelSuites is not only committed to offering quality furnished rentals in Toronto, but we’re also interested in hearing what our clients think about our properties and services. Whether you’re a current client or exploring your housing options, drop by our booth (Booth #24) and connect with our team members to find out more about how we can best serve your business. And while our friendly staff with their expert housing advice are reason enough to come by, we’ll have a few prizes on hand to give away too!
It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. Actually it’s not only someone but a whole team of individuals who unite in a joint effort to give you the experience of a lifetime. From the moment each guest arrives, until the moment they bid farewell, the DelSuites’ staff team is working diligently to ensure that individuals and their families are having the very best experience. Whether you’re checking in to a fully-furnished rental suite for a week or longer, you can relax in the comfort that can be found in your home away from home.
Even before your day begins, the guest services team is responding to emails, verifying schedules and generally planning their day before they hit the office. As part of the joint effort, each team member monitors a 24-hour guest service’s hotline (including evenings and weekends) to ensure your needs are always met.
When it comes to maintaining well-appointed suites, it’s not only up to the cleaning staff. Each guest services team member is in touch with housekeeping supervisors, to review the schedules and ensure that arrival, departures and guests’ special requests are completed in a timely manner. Special requests might mean that housekeeping staff are required to handle emergency cleanings that require additional staff assistance. Through regular communication between housekeeping supervisors and guest services, we are able to provide a high-quality standard of cleaning each and every time.
From sourcing replacement electronics to selecting custom furnishings, the staff at Delsuites makes it a priority to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. In fact, it’s through their direct contact with guests that team members gather a sense of the items that will make life away from home, even better for everyone.
While most days it may be a little hectic for guest services staff, there’s certainly never a dull moment. In fact, for many staff, it’s the diverse nature of the job that keeps them energized each day. Similar to the backstage of a concert or theatre performance, you never really know what goes on behind the scenes but when all goes according to plan, it makes for one incredibly memorable experience.
Although downtown living definitely has its perks, you don’t have to live in the heart of the city to enjoy the amenities that Toronto has to offer. In fact, jetting out of the bustling core may be just the break that you need; but let’s face it, even on the weekends, you’ll still want to be close to good restaurants, parks and entertainment venues.
In the heart of North York, the Meridian offers you the benefits of metropolitan living including easy access to green spaces.
From outdoor enthusiasts to young families, guests will enjoy the opportunity to explore the parks and trails that are within walking distance of the front lobby. In particular, the recently expanded Edithvale Park offers plenty of room for playing and picnicking.
Although the parkland accommodates multiple uses, in 2012 the park was professionally designed to incorporate a unified appearance. The expansive park now features two new playground structures, a herb garden and new plantings.
As an added safety feature, additional lighting has been added to the pathways. Intended to serve as a hub for community gatherings, a community baker’s oven has also been added to the location. From crisp pizzas to tender flatbreads, follow the aroma for a delicious treat on weekends and some weeknight evening.
In addition, the Meridian is also close to outdoor splash pads and recreational sports fields that are a refreshing bonus, especially during the heat of the summer months. Along with its close proximity to parklands, the Meridian includes easy access to subway and GO bus systems.
Whether you have business in the suburbs or downtown core, at the Meridian you’re only a five-minute walk to Yonge and Finch station, which allows you to easily connect to other regional transit lines should you need to travel outside of Toronto.
Sometimes having a different perspective on a familiar situation not only makes you rethink how you react but it can also help you make even better decisions. Over the past few weeks, DelSuites staff members have taken part in an initiative that had everyone spending an overnight stay at one of the company’s 13 properties.
Along with enjoying the quite comforts of the fully furnished suites in Toronto, the staff members were asked to provide critical feedback about their stay including the ease of their check-in to the comfort and quality of the linens. That’s right, staff members even got down and looked under the furniture on the hunt for any lingering dust bunnies.
From the moment she arrived, Accounting Manager, Amanda Yau says she was pleased with the speedy check-in and security measures taken by the staff at Mississauga’s Grand Ovation before releasing her arrival package. But her positive experience didn’t stop there, as Yau says, the impeccably clean suites and comfortable living room furniture were perfect for enjoying the exceptional view.
In the heart of Toronto’s downtown core, Account Manager Enid Bigornia echoes her colleague’s sentiments with her stay at the ICON. Her furnished apartment offered a fresh and airy environment that she found relaxing, “the furnished apartment was spacious with nice high ceilings,” says Bigornia. Along with a keen eye for cleanliness, at the Yonge and Eglinton location of Republic, Guest Services Manager, Erin Conaty found the elegant décor of the suites, created a welcoming atmosphere, especially for guests who are new to Toronto.
Beyond the sparking nature of the suites, Alex Wong Manager of Digital Marketing and Interactive Design would visit James Cooper Mansion any time just to be in the hub of the city. With its proximity to shopping venues and restaurants, Wong says this new development hasn’t missed a detail.
While everyone’s needs and wants are a little different, each of the guests enjoyed their experience and were able to gain some valuable insights; ones that may instill a few changes and tweaks to the services we provide. Whether you enjoyed your stay immensely or have a few suggestions for ways we could improve, we’re always happy to listen, so please feel free to continue to tell us what you think by clicking here.
