The Story of Qwest Furnished Rentals Toronto

We are proud to offer Qwest furnished rentals Toronto that is located right in the heart of downtown. There has recently been renovations in the building along side with improvements in our suites. Both have been transformed into a modern, comfortable and stylish place to stay.

We have gone through a series of renovations over the years and recently in order to improve and make them more comfortable for our guests. We have removed the wallpaper and painting, installed new hardwood floors from carpeting, added most recently installed new kitchens appliances and bathrooms.
One of the biggest changes was when we took out the carpeting and replaced it with hardwood floors, giving the living spaces a much more clean, spacious and modern feeling to them. We have also installed stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and have updated the cabinets with a coat of paint and new handles. The bathrooms are outfitted with a new vanity, countertops and a fresh coat of paint.
Our renovations have been aesthetic as well as practical and we have decorated with several beautiful examples of local Toronto themed art. The choice of artwork gives each suite a cozy and elegant feeling and makes it feel more like home.

Elegant Colour Scheme
The colour scheme chosen is grey and black, a dramatic and rich choice which will be timeless. We chose each element of the décor perfectly, so that together it would create an overall atmosphere of stylish elegance. The new look of the building has a modern simplicity and will add a lot of value to the property. The stylish décor gives each of the suites a relaxing feeling, so that you can feel peaceful and calm during your stay – whether you are visiting the Toronto area for business or pleasure.

Fun Things to Do in Toronto this Winter

Toronto is a great place to be during the winter! The fun doesn’t stop when the streets freeze over and this bustling metropolis knows how to make the most of the coldest months of the year. If you are visiting Toronto during the winter you’ll have plenty of things to do and thats close to your furnished apartments Toronto, whether that means outdoor activities that embrace the snow and cold to indoor activities that will keep you cozy and warm.
Here are some ideas of fun things to do in Toronto this winter:

Cross Country Skiing
There are many nature trails in Toronto that look absolutely magical when they are covered with a dusting of snow. You can bundle up, strap on some skis and take a tour through some of the best trails in the city. Earl Bales Park and Ski Dagmar is now open. Why not bring a thermos with some hot chocolate and a few snacks so that you can stop in the peaceful, quiet snowy forest for a winter picnic?

Late Night Skating
Although many of the outdoor rinks in Toronto are closed by 10pm, there are a few rinks that are open until late at night so why not bundle up and go for a midnight skate? Try the rink at Nathan Phillips Square or the Ryerson Rink on Gould Street. Skating can be a lot of fun and it’s a great workout, so you can indulge in some late night snacks afterwards without any guilt.

Go to a Museum
If you want a break from the bitter cold, you could spend the day within one of the many excellent museums in Toronto. For example, the Royal Ontario Museum is home to a massive collection of artworks and historical items from all over the world. Or, you could visit the fascinating Bata Shoe Museum, which is home to a collection of over 13,000 footwear items.

Go Shopping
Another way to get out of the cold is to take advantage of the amazing shopping scene in Toronto and pick up gifts for all of your loved ones. Toronto is home to the Eaton Centre, which is full of many great high street brands and unique designers. Also, check out the St. Lawrence Market where you will find many unique antiques, books and handicrafts.

Though we think that the best place to have a group dinner is at your furnished apartment rental in Toronto, sometimes, it’s nice to take your friends out to a meal. The trouble can be finding a restaurant that caters to large groups or groups, in general. Here are our top five restaurants for groups in Toronto. Also ideal for small work holiday dinner parties and team outings.

1. Momofuku Daisho. It can be difficult to find fine dining for a large group and Daisho excels in that. One of the three restaurants at Momofuku in the Shangri-la Hotel (close to your short or long term rental apartment or suite), Daisho specializes in large format menus with a niche in one item. 3. The Sultan’s Tent. Transport yourself to the souks of Marrakech at this Moroccan restaurant. October is a very exciting month to be in Toronto, as there are a number of exciting events taking place. Here are some of the hottest October events in Toronto:

Big City Improv Fest – October 16th-24th
Laugh until you can’t breathe at the wonderfully goofy Improv Fest, a celebration of improvisation comedians who are witty and quick on their feet. This festival brings many of the best improv stars to the city, including Deb McGrath, Colin Mochrie and Scott Adist.

Cask Days – October 23rd – 25th
This celebration of ale is the best beer event of the year in Toronto and it is returning for its 11th year. There will be 150 breweries participating in the event and over 300 beers for you to sample. As well as delicious beer there will also be food from some of the best restaurants in Toronto including 416 Snackbar, Brando’s Fried Chicken and Porchetta & Co.

Art Toronto – October 23rd – 25th
If you are an art lover you will have a blast this weekend when Art Toronto takes over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to present a collection of contemporary and modern art from all over the world. For this year’s festival it will be focusing on Latin America, with a collection of projects from all over South and Central America. There will also be a fascinating series of lectures and discussions from prominent figures in the Canadian art world.
