Delsuites New Location – The Livmore

Adding a new building to our collection of locations throughout Toronto is always a thrill, and this one is no exception. Recently launched, The Livmore captures all of the best aspects of life in urban Toronto.

With a range of studio, one, two and three bedroom floor plans, these “refined residential rentals” have everything you need for a comfortable, convenient and chic stay in Toronto.

About The Livmore

The Livmore will cater to young professionals, business travelers and anyone who is seeking temporary housing in Toronto with a condominium lifestyle for stays of 30 nights or longer. The suites sizes range from 388 Sq. Ft (Studio) up to 1100 Sq. Ft (3-Bedroom) and are designed to let plenty of natural light in – creating a bright and spacious atmosphere.

The building is designed with a range of high quality amenities – including a two-storey sky lounge on the 26th floor, an outdoor terrace with barbeques and fireplaces on the 5th floor and a gym and fitness area. Residents can admire the view, or stretch out and relax in the yoga and aerobics studio.

The party room is a space ideal for hosting private functions – with kitchen facilities and plenty of space. There’s also a theatre/screening room and a game room (it’s hard to be bored during a stay here!).

The Livmore has been designed with sustainability in mind. Everything is modern and high quality – from the furnishings to the appliances to the bathroom fixtures. Staying in a furnished apartment like this means that you’ll have all of the luxuries of a high end hotel (such as fitness facilities, media room, sky lounge, etc.) yet you’ll also enjoy the space and added comforts of home (such as your own kitchen and living space.)

Why We Love The Livmore

There are so many reasons why we are thrilled to announce this new building. First of all, there’s the location. It’s right on the corner of Bay & Gerrard in downtown Toronto, located in the heart of some of the city’s best nightlife, shopping and dining.

You’ll be within walking distance from some of the best attractions in the city, including the Toronto Eaton Centre, Yonge Dundas Square and Toronto Hospitals. This is also a prime location for business travelers, as it is centrally located.

Secondly, there’s the fact that the Livmore is pet friendly. So, if you travel with your furry friend you’ll be welcome here. There’s even an outdoor green space, known as the “Bark Park,” where dogs can come out and play. How great is that?

DelSuites Announces Pet Friendly Travel

DelSuites welcomes pet friendly travel accommodations; any domestic cats and dogs that are 25 lbs or less.

DelSuites is known for providing top notch accommodation with five star Tridel amenities, located in some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Toronto. The suites, equipped with full kitchens, laundry facilities and parking, are ideal for vacations, family travel, business travel, home renovations, insurance claims, relocation or medical stays.

Whether you are moving house and need to take your pet with you, or you simply want to bring Fluffy or Fido along on your vacation, you can book with DelSuites knowing that they will be welcome. When you arrive at your suite, you’ll receive a custom DelSuites food and water dish that you are free to use during your stay.

Pet Friendly Travel Accommodations

We only ask that your furry travel companion follows a few simple guidelines, such as:

Pets should be leashed at all time, or carried through common areas.
Pets are not permitted within the building’s recreation areas.
If your pet is left alone on cleaning day, please contain them within a crate for the safety of the pet and housekeeping personnel.
A $300 non-refundable Pet Cleaning Fee will be charged.
Service or Assistance animals can stay at no additional charge.

Please note that the guidelines may vary slightly depending on the location where you plan to stay, so please check the building page for specific pet allowances. Be sure to specify in your booking that you will be bringing your pet along with you.

It is an honour to receive a nomination for this award and to be named amongst many other excellent businesses within this industry. EMMA stands for Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards and these awards celebrate best practices, successes and outstanding performers in the global mobility industry.

DelSuites was nominated in the category of Corporate Housing Provider of the Year. This category recognizes excellence in the field of Corporate Housing. Some of the other categories that are honoured by this award include the Global Mobility Team of the Year, the Best Talent Mobility Strategy, The Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility and the Employee Benefits Services Provider of the Year.

This is a prestigious award and DelSuites was nominated for two years in a row. It is an honour to be invited to an event such as this, in which all of the top innovators in the industry have gathered together to celebrate each other’s achievements.

The Forum for Expatriate Management – EMMA

The Emma Awards are presented to the world by the Forum for Expatriate Management, which is a worldwide network of Global Mobility professionals and supplier partners from all over the world. Their aims are to make connections throughout the industry, distil best practices and get the latest news from all across the industries. These awards celebrate the best and the brightest of the global mobility industry and all of the supporting vendors and suppliers.

This event is designed for anyone who is a director, CEO, head, analyst or manager of Global Mobility, HR and HR relocation, Immigration, International Programs, Talent Management, Expatriate Tax and much more. Plus, it is also relevant for relocation and transportation companies, global mobility software providers, global payroll management and immigration law firms.

The 2017 Awards

The Shortlisted Emma Candidates were announced to the world and then the nominations were assessed by an independent judging panel. This year’s event was the 8th annual America’s EMMA awards and was sponsored by Eqqus Software, BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, Polaris Global Mobility, Cambridge Global Payments, Oakwood Worldwide and several others.

The Awards were presented to the runners up and winners at the Americas Global Mobility Summit on May 4th.

The winners of the 2017 awards for the Corporate Housing Provider of the Year were Nomad Temporary Housing. Also mentioned as the Runner Up and the Highly Commended choice was Preferred Corporate Housing and Blvd Suites Corporate Housing.

This superb evening of awards celebrated successes and particularly exceptional contributions to the world of global mobility. The best and the brightest were highlighted and DelSuites was thrilled to be involved in such a great event.

Delsuites attending CHPA Conference

The Corporate Housing Provider’s Association – CHPA conference will be taking place in Huntington Beach, California from February 17th to March 1st. DelSuites is looking forward to taking part in this year’s event, which is the only event dedicated exclusively to the corporate housing industry. All of the corporate housing providers and service partners who gather here have one goal – doing business better.

A Place for Ideas to Thrive – CHPA Conference

More than 500 corporate professionals are expected to attend this year’s CHPA conference, which means more than 60 hours of valuable and educational face time with a wide range of industry partners all in one place. The conference also offers 24 hours of highly focused training for the corporate housing professional as well as three keynote sessions on leadership issues. It creates an environment in which creative ideas and new innovations can be celebrated.

DelSuites gains knowledge and expertise being a member of the CHPA and looking forward to engaging with like-minded individuals from around the world. It will be a great opportunity to make connections in the industry and strengthen the business network.

It is also a chance to stay up to date on business trends and innovations in the world of corporate housing. Tradeshows and exhibitions are an important part of business decisions and 79% of the annual conference attendees bring more than one key decision maker from their company.

Industry Expert Speakers – CHPA Conference

The CHPA conference will include talks and workshops from leaders in the corporate housing industry, so there is a lot to learn at this great event. The talks will focus on the day to day basics, the future of the industry, best practices, operations and much more. Every year it brings new ideas and encourages industry professionals to learn from each other.

For example, there will be a Kickoff Keynote talk with Ben Casnocha on the topic of The Alliance: Managing Talent in the Network Age. There will also be a keynote session with Kate Good that will explore the changing face of marketing and sales and how to achieve greater effectiveness in 2017. There will also be a closing keynote from Shelly Alcorn, who will talk about Disruption and Your Company’s Future.

All of the speakers are chosen for this conference for their bright and forward thinking ideas and the value that they contribute to those who work within this industry. DelSuites Exhibits at OIAA Conference

The Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA Claims Conference) is a conference that connects insurance professionals and facilitates innovation within this dynamic industry. The event will take place on January 31, 2017 and it provides a full day of education, networking, displays and new ideas.

The team at DelSuites always looks forward to taking part each year as it brings together a wide range of companies and exhibitors from the insurance industry. The aim of the event is to promote and maintain a high standard within the business of insurance and to address any issues that affect the insurance industry as a whole. Also, the event provides opportunities to establish and maintain contacts among fellow members of the association.
