DelSuites Achieves TripAdvisor Certificate

August 19, 2016

TripAdvisorThe Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence is an impressive accolade that is awarded to the best businesses listed on the review website. It honours restaurants, hotels and attractions that receive great traveller reviews consistently. There are many establishments around the world that have earned this award for delivering superior customer service and DelSuites is proud to announce that it is one of them for the third consecutive year.

DelSuites is thrilled to have qualified for this distinction three years in a row, which is a reflection of the fact that they have dedicated themselves to offering their customers an excellent experience. Cliff Norton, Director of Sales, states “It is very easy and common for a company to call itself customer centric, however, there can be no greater measure of being a customer focused company than actual customer reviews and an award based on their reviews.”

Qualifying for the Certificate of Excellence

The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is now in its 6th year. In order to qualify for this award, a business must have an overall Tripadvisor rating of at least four out of five stars. Also, it must have a minimum number of reviews in order to qualify, including a minimum volume of reviews that have been received within the last 12 months.TripAdvisor

Only the top 10% of the businesses on the review website qualify for this prestigious award. The winners include top notch hotels and restaurants from all over the world. Because the award is based on the reviews of the customers, it is truly a reflection of those businesses that go above and beyond to make sure that their customers have the best possible experience. DelSuites is honoured to be named among the other businesses that have qualified for this award.

TripAdvisor – Your Source for Travel Reviews

Kim 2TripAdvisor is one of the most valuable resources for travellers, as it allows users to view millions of reviews of hotels, hostels, resorts, tour agencies, attractions, restaurants and more. These objective user reviews allow travellers to plan their trips based on real experiences by other visitors. TripAdvisor was one of the first websites to adopt this model and it pioneered the way in user-generated content, creating an example for many other types of review websites that came after it.

TripAdvisor also operates more than 24 other travel brands, including Vacation Home Rentals, TravelPod, Airfare Watchdog, Cruise Critic, Jet Setter, Flip Key, Gate Guru, The Fork, Smarter Travel and much more. It is one of the biggest brands on the travel scene and the go-to place that travellers go when they want to read an unbiased review before booking a trip.

After receiving the Certificate of Excellence for the third year in a row, DelSuites will continue to go above and beyond to provide the best possible travel experience for its guests from all over the world.

“Spirit of Partnership” Awarded from Oakwood Worldwide

June 24, 2016

Oakwood WorldwideDelSuites is proud to announce that it has been recognized by Oakwood Worldwide and has been granted the Spirit of Partnership Award. This prestigious award was announced during the Corporate Housing Providers Association annual conference.

Oakwood Worldwide is the global leader in the field of serviced apartments and corporate housing and it recognizes the best supply chain partners from North America at the annual Corporate Housing Providers Association conference. Other awards were given out during the conference for other achievements in the industry, such as highest service level, highest volume and more. This conference is one of the most important events in the corporate housing industry.

The Spirit of Partnership Award

This award is not for the accommodation with the most room nights or the best customer scores, but for the company that will go above and beyond to help Oakwood in any way possible. The Spirit of Partnership award celebrates companies that are involved in the community around them and are actively working to make it a better place.

This award is a direct reflection of the positive attitude and excellent customer service approach that DelSuites has. In everything that they do, DelSuites goes further and strives to be involved in the community in positive ways. It is an honour to receive this award, as it highlights the dedication DelSuites has to improving the world around them.

A Commitment to the Community

DelSuites recently visited the Toronto Humane Society and donated five bags of gently used towels to this organization. The Humane Society cares for the health of stray animals and provides them with shelter, medical care and spay and neutering services.

The organization is run by volunteers who work to match the animals with their new homes, socialize them, groom them, walk them, play with them and feed them. By getting involved with the Toronto Humane Society and donating these used towels, DelSuites is contributing to a healthier and happier community. Working together with the Toronto Humane Society is just one of the ways that DelSuites contributes to improving the city and the lives of animals and people in the community.

The Avondale also features a bowling alley, fitness centre, swimming pool and billiards room to help you unwind after a busy day at work.

Recently we made some exciting new changes to our furnished apartments.

The Design – A New, More Modern Look

Featured in our re-design was a more modern look that introduces warm tones and highlights the great features of our suites. Borrowing from the success of our James Cooper Mansion, we introduced a more modern, elegant and sophisticated look at The Avondale.

AvondaleThe open design of the kitchen, living room and dining areas allow for the free flow of traffic and natural light. The neutral colour scheme of creams and browns is carried throughout the suite – with a few bright red accents. Wood flooring is used throughout the living spaces, which ties the space together.

The walls have been painted in a neutral tone and feature accent walls in a warm grey tone. We chose the neutral tones for the walls so that they would be calming and relaxing and offer an environment that was pleasing to the eye.

In the living room the sofabed and accent chair offer ample seating and are upholstered with a soft fabric.Avondale

For the bedroom we also chose calm and neutral tones, with a few bold accents such as red pillows on the bed. With a large window featuring stunning views and a bedside lamp for reading, the bedroom is a calm, comforting oasis for relaxation.

The apartment also features a dedicated workspace along with high speed wireless internet which is the perfect spot to set up a laptop and answer your emails or get work done. Offering a bright lamp and a comfy chair, we think it is a wonderfully pleasant work environment.

The apartment’s new look makes it an even more enjoyable place to relax and recharge when you are visiting Toronto, whether you are there for business or pleasure. Why not book a stay in our Avondale apartment so that you can experience the new design for yourself?

June and July Toronto EventsThe summer of 2015 is going to be an exciting one in Toronto with a number of special events this year. Many of these events are located in downtown Toronto, centrally located and not too far from your furnished apartment. This is an ideal time to be in the city for your short-term stay or an extended stay. Here are a few of our favourite June and July Toronto events happening this year.

1. North By Northeast Festival (NXNE) (June 17-21, 2015). This festival has gone beyond just music to converge creatives artists into five different event-packed streams: Music, Film, Interactive, Comedy, and Art. Toronto will be a buzz with shows (and secret shows) at concert venues littered across town as well as free concerts at Yonge and Dundas Square. Discover your favourite shows and plan in advance so you can use your pass well.

It’s always a great way to introduce the summer!
