As we adjust to the new norms of travel and to address traveler’s changing expectations, our top priority is to deliver world-class hospitality and help keep you safe in an unprecedented global health emergency.

DelSuites takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We have taken additional measures to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous.

We rely on these standards to provide our guests with the confidence that our suites are safe, clean and sanitized for their safety and well-being. With safe and consistent practices, we will continue to deliver the high quality service we are known for.

Our Commitment to You, Our Guests

DelSuites Pre-Arrival and Quarantine Assistance

  • Pre-Arrival Grocery Service. We can purchase basic essentials for the guest. Please provide us one week notice so that we have enough time to purchase and deliver to the suite prior to arrival. Please fill out this form https://www.delsuites.com/concierge/grocery_service.php
  • Self-service Grocery. For more variety of items to buy, we recommend self-ordering using www.instacart.ca. Please ensure that a parcel waiver form has been completed and that someone will be home during delivery day
  • Pre-Access to the Suite. On the day of arrival, we can give you or your representative access to the suite (based on availability), so that you can stock up the condo with more supplies
  • Suites with balconies. At select locations/properties, suites with balconies can be requested and is based on availability.
  • Extra bed linens and towels are available upon request. A set of towels are on each bathroom rack and a spare set is kept underneath the bathroom sink. All suites have a washer and dryer should the guest want to refresh their linens and towels more frequently.
  • Delivery and garbage disposal procedures for isolators. We compiled an information sheet for each building covering procedures required for deliveries, including mandatory completion of a parcel waiver form; and how to dispose of garbage safely. Information sheet is provided in the arrival package.
  • COVID-19 Information Resources. Contact information for Toronto Public Health and Telehealth Ontario are available to guests concerned about COVID-19. Links are included in the arrival and welcome emails sent to either the guest, their agent or company representative who made the reservation
  • Where possible, suite photos, virtual tours and video links are offered as an alternate solution to tours and suite orientations when requested are conducted by video chat or phone call.

DelSuites Cleaning

  • Bi-weekly Housekeeping. For guests quarantining, we will not visit the suite during the 1st two-weeks of the stay. The 1st housekeeping day will be scheduled in the 3rd or 4th week (depending on the date of arrival).
  • Limited suite visits. Suite visits by Guest Services and Maintenance personnel are restricted to essential services only.
  • During Bi-weekly cleaning, before we visit, we ask guests:
    • If you or any member of your household are sick, contact DelSuites prior to cleaning day to have your cleaning rescheduled.
    • If anyone is sick when we arrive, we will not enter your suite and Housekeeping have been instructed but to withhold service, leave clean sheets and towels at the door and report it to the supervisor immediately.
    • Remove all garbage and recycling from the suite prior to our visit.
    • Remove clutter and debris from surfaces to accommodate a thorough cleaning.
    • Remove any dishes from sink and place in dishwasher. Housekeeping will not wash dishes.
  • Using disinfectant cleaners with bleach are used as a part of our standard cleaning practices. Disinfectant Multi-surfaces cleaner, Bathroom Bleach Cleaner – both products advertise to kill 99.9% of bacteria, Spray Cleaner with Bleach disinfectant that kills germs, bacteria, viruses/fungi and deodorizes.
  • Focusing to sanitize high touch areas. The first step is to disinfect all door handles and surfaces, then high-touch areas such as light switches, door cabinetry pulls, TV remotes, thermostat, lockboxes/keys.
  • Using fresh cleaning supplies for each suite. Housekeeping uses color-coded microfiber cloths for each area of the suite: code RED-Washrooms, BLUE-all surfaces and GREEN-kitchen. Mops are used with different pads for the washroom floor and a different pad for the rest of the suite. Used cleaning cloths are bagged after each suite cleaning and sent to laundry.
  • Providing housekeeping and maintenance staff with personal protective equipment. Masks and Gloves are provided; gloves are worn at all times and are discarded after each suite cleaning.
  • Providing complimentary Welcome Kit to each new arrival. Kits include – paper towels, dishwashing liquid, scouring sponge, dishwasher powder, laundry soap and hand soap. Note: Multi-purpose disinfecting cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner & brush, 2 cleaning cloths are available upon request
  • Outfitting each suite with a vacuum cleaner, broom and dust pan.
  • Sanitizing our housekeeping carts in between each visit to suites.
As an active member of its communities, DelSuites respects and adheres to each buildings’ safety protocols:
  • All buildings have sanitizer stations prominently placed throughout.
  • All buildings require wearing of mask in common areas and maintaining a physical distance of 2m.
  • All buildings have elevator spacing guideline. Elevators allow a maximum of 2 people per household.
  • All buildings have revised maximum capacity restrictions and guidelines for safe use in fitness centers, swimming pools, and other amenities.
  • There may be closure of some common areas/recreational amenities as decided upon by Property Management/Condominium Board.

DelSuites ~ Working Together, Differently - Supporting the Wellbeing of our Team Members

DelSuites has implemented additional precautionary protocols to support the well-being of our Team Members in this new environment.

  • Our teams are receiving ongoing updates on hygiene protocols and best practices from Toronto’s Public Health as well as a mandatory training on Tridel Policies and Guidelines for reducing the spread of COVID-19.
  • Our teams coordinate their daily workplace presence and observe daily maximum occupancy of shared spaces through Weekly Head Office Registration; and use FOB access in the workplace to track employee movements useful for contact-tracing records in the event of a case.
  • Our team members conduct a Daily Self-Assessment Health Check. Employees are required to stay home when they are sick or are experiencing any symptoms, to work with their doctor and their Manager to plan next steps.
  • Our team members wear face masks upon entry to the office and in all shared workspaces where physical distancing is not possible.
  • Our team members are asked to keep immediate work area clean and sanitized, especially high-touch items such as keyboard; and to reduce the number of items around their workspace. Each desk is properly sanitized after work byfacility management.
  • Our team members continuing a work-from-home, encouraged to utilize virtual platforms for internal communications, and to avoid non-essential in-person interactions or group meetings.
